Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom

DE Defrost error Medium An unusually heavy layer of frost or ice on the rear interior panel indicates the defrost heater has not been melting the evaporator coil during scheduled cycles. View HI High temperature alarm High The freezer emits a continuous or intermittent beeping and the HI code is visible on the display panel. View PF Power failure alert Medium Depending on the duration of the power loss, the freezer temperature may have risen, showing a reading above the normal 0°F target. View PO Power outage detected Medium The freezer emits an audible alert and displays PO on the control panel when power is restored following an outage. View SY CE Communication error Medium The displayed temperature may jump or stutter momentarily as the control board loses and regains data sync with the sensor module. View SY CF Communication fault High The temperature display shows inconsistent or fluctuating values because the control board cannot reliably receive data from the sensor module. View
