Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
F1E1 Control board failure High The drum halts unexpectedly during a drying cycle and the dryer refuses to respond to any button input until the error is cleared. View F1E3 Motor control unit fault High The dryer produces heat but the drum does not rotate, leaving clothes heaped at the bottom of a hot drum. View F2E1 Stuck keypad button Low A button does not spring back fully when pressed, indicating physical obstruction or membrane deformation. View F2E2 UI board mismatch Medium Following a recent repair, none of the cycle buttons or display segments function, and F2E2 appears at power-on. View F3E1 Exhaust thermistor open Medium Because the dryer cuts heat early or shuts down when it cannot read exhaust temperature, clothes are left underdried. View F3E2 Inlet thermistor shorted Medium The motor operates normally but the heater circuit is disabled because the control board believes the inlet temperature is already dangerously high. View F4E1 Heater relay fault High A relay stuck in the closed position keeps the heating element energized continuously, causing clothes to overheat or scorch. View F4E3 Heating element open Medium The drum tumbles normally for the entire cycle duration but no heat is produced, so laundry comes out as wet as it went in. View F6E2 Main-to-UI comm error Medium The communication loss causes the UI to either freeze on the last displayed cycle time or go completely dark while the machine halts. View F6E3 UI-to-main comm error Medium The UI board loses power or locks up, blanking the display while the main board simultaneously detects the loss of UI signals. View
