Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
F1E1 Control board temp fault High The dishwasher halts partway through a wash or rinse cycle and refuses to resume, displaying F1E1 on the control panel. View F2E1 Stuck keypad button Medium Pressing Start does nothing — the unit displays F2E1 and ignores all button inputs because it detects a key as permanently held. View F3E1 Water temp sensor open Medium Without a working temperature sensor, the heating element does not activate, leaving water cold and reducing the effectiveness of detergent. View F5E1 Door latch switch fault Medium The cycle appears to start (the control panel accepts the start command) but the unit sits silently without filling because the door-closed safety interlock is not satisfied. View F6E1 No water fill detected High The unit powers on and the cycle appears to begin, but no sound of water rushing in is heard — the dishwasher sits quietly for about 3–4 minutes before displaying F6E1. View F6E4 Flood sensor activated High Visible water on the kitchen floor in front of or beneath the dishwasher is the clearest physical sign of the internal leak that triggered F6E4. View F7E1 Heating element fault Medium Without a functioning heating element, the heated dry phase does not evaporate moisture from dishes, leaving them dripping wet even after a full cycle. View F8E1 Low water level fault Medium A small amount of water enters the tub — visible at the bottom — but the cycle halts before the water level reaches the sump, and F8E1 appears on the display. View F9E1 Drain failure detected Medium Opening the dishwasher door after a cycle reveals 1–3 inches of dirty water pooled at the bottom of the tub, indicating the drain phase failed to complete. View
